The Frontier Conference
The Frontier Conference: Innovation in Industrials & Energy
CONFERENCE OVERVIEW: The Frontier: Innovation in Industrials & Energy Conference (the “Conference” or the “Frontier”) is a concept by Hank Torbert, an executive and private investor focused on identifying and supporting emerging technologies companies, and Kirk Coburn, professional surfer, founder of SURGE Ventures, the top ranked accelerator and seed investor for energy entrepreneurs, and active energy technology angel investor. Hosted annually, the New Orleans–based two–day conference will focus on creating an environment that allows the world’s top innovators, thinkers, executives, visionaries, investors, and entrepreneurs to re–think energy.
The Industrials and Energy Sectors have experienced tremendous change in the last decade—confronting obstacles related to safety, security, environment, and price sensitivity. Companies are seeking ways to not only overcome these obstacles, but to improve and optimize production and reduce costs. To do this, many are turning to the Industrial Internet; leveraging data and designing solutions utilizing AI, advanced materials and other emerging technologies.
New Frontier brings together thought leaders to explore how culture and innovation is transforming every segment of the Industrials and Energy sectors.
The event will host the leading corporates, investors, entrepreneurs, researchers, policymakers, and other prominent members of the ecosystem for two days of conversation, dialogue, and networking.
